Amid decreasing investor interest in retail properties and negative outlook for retail real estate, real estate professionals and retailers expect deal-making to continue as usual—if not better than—previous years at ICSC’s annual RECon convention next week in Las Vegas. “I think it’s just going to be business as usual,” says Mark Tergesen, executive managing director at ABS Partners Real Estate, which focuses on street-level retail in mixed-use properties in New York.
