NAR: Monthly existing home sales reach four-year high

In February, existing home sales experienced their largest monthly gain in four years, according to the latest report from the National Association of Realtors. Total existing home sales, completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops, spiked 11.8% from January to a seasonally adjusted rate of 5.51 million in February, the highest monthly increase since December 2015. However, the report reveals sales are 1.8% below February 2018’s rate.
