NAR: Existing home sales slide further in January

For the third month in a row, existing home sales took a dive, according to the latest report from the National Association of Realtors. Total existing home sales, completed transactions that include single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops, retreated 1.2% from December to a seasonally adjusted rate of 4.94 million in January. Furthermore, the report indicates sales are 8.5% below January 2018’s rate.
