MIAX, creator and operator of high-performance securities exchanges, products and services, will launch cash-settled futures contracts on BRIXX™ Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Indexes developed by Advanced Fundamentals. The first contract to be listed will be the BRIXX Retail Index futures contract which is expected to begin trading on October 4, 2021. Three additional BRIXX CRE Index futures are expected to be listed in the fourth quarter of 2021. Cash-settled options on the BRIXX CRE Indexes will launch on MIAX, also targeted for fourth quarter of 2021. The launch of the futures and options contracts remain subject to regulatory approval.
BRIXX futures and options will provide investors with targeted exposure to the $16 trillion commercial real estate market, including the Residential, Retail, Office and Hospitality commercial real estate sectors. BRIXX CRE Indexes measure real-time real estate returns and are priced using real-time public market data aggregating over $750 billion in property values. The design also allows the BRIXX CRE Indexes to be priced in terms that real estate professionals know and understand such as price per room key (Hospitality), or price per square foot (Residential, Office, Retail).

Cash-settled futures contracts will be listed on MGEX via the CME GLOBEX® platform and will be cleared by MGEX, a wholly owned subsidiary of MIAX's parent holding company, Miami International Holdings.
We believe real estate funds and institutional professionals will be attracted to BRIXX futures and options and that the products have the potential to provide an entirely new asset class of commercial real estate derivatives to the industry. Realty Income Corporation (NYSE: O) ("Realty Income"), The Monthly Dividend Company®, and VEREIT, Inc. (NYSE: VER) ("VEREIT") today announced that Realty Income stockholders and VEREIT stockholders approved all of the proposals necessary for the closing of the previously announced merger pursuant to which Realty Income will acquire VEREIT.
At the special meeting of Realty Income stockholders held, approximately 98.9% of the votes cast were voted in favor of the issuance of new shares of Realty Income common stock to VEREIT stockholders as consideration in the merger, which votes represented approximately 66.0% of the outstanding shares of Realty Income common stock.
At the special meeting of VEREIT stockholders held today, approximately 99.7% of the votes cast were voted in favor of the merger, which represented approximately 80.9% of the outstanding shares of VEREIT common stock.
The final voting results on the proposals voted on at the special meetings will be set forth in each company's separate Form 8-Ks filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission after certification by its inspector of election.
The merger is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2021. Under the terms of the merger agreement, VEREIT shareholders will receive 0.705 shares of Realty Income stock for every share of VEREIT stock they own immediately prior to the effective time of the merger.

JLL Income Property Trust, an institutionally managed daily NAV REIT (NASDAQ: ZIPTAX; ZIPTMX; ZIPIAX; ZIPIMX) with $5.5 billion in portfolio assets, today announced the acquisition of Friendship Distribution Center, a newly constructed, four-building industrial portfolio totaling nearly 650,000 square feet. The Class A properties are located in the Atlanta suburb of Buford, Georgia, home to the premier Northeast Atlanta industrial submarket. The purchase price was $95 million.

JLL Income Property Trust's aggregate industrial allocation is now over $1.6 billion of industrial holdings in 54 properties across 13 key markets, representing the second largest property type allocation in the portfolio.
Friendship Distribution Center is in an "A" location, with immediate proximity to Interstate 985, the major highway in the Northeast Atlanta submarket. Its strategic location provides access to the entire Eastern seaboard within a one to two-day drive.
Friendship Distribution Center is 96 percent leased to five tenants, with a weighted average lease term of approximately six years. According to LaSalle Research & Strategy, Atlanta is the fourth largest industrial market in the U.S. with more than 660 million square feet of space. The market set an absorption record in the second quarter of 2021 of 8.6 million square feet, bringing vacancy down to just 5 percent. The Northeast submarket specifically saw 2.1 million square feet of net absorption in the second quarter, the highest of any submarket in the Atlanta metro area, accounting for 24 percent of total absorption.
