Savills and SRS Real Estate Partners Form Strategic Alliance

Savills today announced that it formed a strategic alliance with SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS), supplementing its existing North American retail capabilities and enhancing its ability to provide seamless, high-caliber advisory services to retail occupiers, investors and owners worldwide.

With more than 300 professionals across 27 offices, SRS is the largest real estate firm in North America dedicated solely to servicing retail clients. StepStone Real Estate Closes Fund IV With $1.4 Billion in Capital Commitments

StepStone Real Estate ("SRE") announced today the final closing of StepStone Real Estate Partners IV ("SREP IV"), its fourth in a series of funds focused on special situations secondaries and recapitalizations of real estate vehicles. SREP IV's $1.4 billion final closing exceeded the $1 billion target for the fund and notably, approximately $870 million of the commitments closed after the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal advisors for the formation of the fund. SREP IV is double the size of its predecessor, SREP III, which had its final closing in February 2017 with $700 million in primary commitments and invested capital of approximately $1.2 billion, including capital from co-investors.

When completed, the transaction will create an unrivaled investment platform in Latin America, with $25.9 billion in assets under management and a leader in Private Equity, Infrastructure and Credit investments in the region. The combination will enhance Patria's product offering by adding the largest credit investment platform in Latin America. It will also create the number one Private Investments in Public Equities (PIPE) manager in the region. The combination of the two operations will add geographical exposure within Latin America through client base and product offering and will open the opportunity for cross selling, leveraging a complementary investor base. With more than US$ 10 billion in assets under management across credit and public equities, Moneda is a leading investment firm in Latin America, with more than 25 years of history and a track record of top quartile performance, profitability and growth.
