Home-price gains in metro Charlotte hold pace in May

Home prices across Charlotte's metro area increased in May at a similar rate as the previous month: 6.1%. That year-over-year price gain once again exceeded the national average of 5.6%, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller report released Tuesday.
