ScanlanKemperBard (SKB) has announced the acquisition of 600 NW 40th Street, an industrial property situated on 0.83 acres just off Leary Way NW between the Ballard and Fremont neighborhoods. The property consists of two warehouses, with one having been recently completed in 2020.
The property is currently 100% leased by a single tenant, Glass Eye Studios, who have been operating out of the property since its construction in 1978. Glass Eye Studios is one of the oldest and largest privately-owned glass blowing operations in the country and has served as the training ground for some of the most famed glass artists of the Pacific Northwest.

Broad Street Realty, Inc. (OTCQX: BRST), a fully integrated and self-managed publicly owned real estate company, announced today the acquisition of Midtown Row in Williamsburg, Virginia for $122 million. The mixed-use property is a recently completed development comprised of 240 student housing units with 620 beds and a retail component of 63,573 square feet of gross leasable area.
The Midtown Row Acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, and the Company expects to close the Midtown Row Acquisition by the end of the second quarter of 2022. There can be no assurances that these conditions will be satisfied or that the Company will complete the Midtown Row Acquisition on the terms described herein or at all.

The Harper Luxury Apartments in Franklin, Tennessee, has been sold by Embrey of San Antonio, Texas.
The Harper is part of a mixed-use, planned community being developed by SouthStar and Embrey, which are both known for developing highly desirable living and working experiences. It has been a pleasure to be a part of such a well-planned horizontal mixed-use master plan and partnering with SouthStar. Every good development has a great story. This was a very complex transaction and without the collaboration of SouthStar, Gamble Design Collaborative, Kimley Horn Engineers, and HEDK Architects, The Harper could not have been developed."

The 328-unit property features luxurious interiors such as nine-foot ceilings, open floor plans, granite countertops, large islands and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen. Pre-leasing is underway at 525 Olive, a nearly 300,000-square-foot luxury apartment community in Bankers Hill being developed by global real estate leader Greystar in conjunction with St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral. Offering panoramic views of San Diego's famed Balboa Park, the more than $100.2 million project is slated for completion in April 2022, with move-ins to begin in April.
According to Raul Tamez, director of development for Greystar, the 20-story luxury community is San Diego's answer to New York's Central Park living – providing easy access to the city's urban playground, Balboa Park, which features over 1,200 acres of natural outdoor space.
With its elevated Bankers Hill location, 525 Olive is now the highest residential address in San Diego, offering sweeping city, bay and park views.
