Atlantic City is the most affordable U.S. city to buy a beach home, according to a survey by national realtor Redfin. To determine the most affordable beach towns, Redfin looked at coastal cities with populations of at least 1,000 people and identified those where at least 3 percent of the vacant units were flagged by the Census as being for seasonal use to define vacation cities.
