Private real estate investors exhibit similar strategy preferences in Q3 2016 compared to a year ago, with just a small increase in investor interest in all strategies except value added funds – these are currently targeted by 50% of investors, down from 56% this time last year (Fig. 1). Core real estate funds remain the most targeted strategy, with 61% of investors that are planning new investments in the next 12 months looking to invest in core funds
